George "Yung Blitz" Harper was born September 21,1986 in Norfolk,Va. Blitz grew up in an urban area of the city littered with murderers to drug dealers. Harper knew that he had to do something to occupy his time,so basketball became his outlet. It only took him a few years to realize that he wasn't meant for sports so the search for another outlet began. At the age of thirteen George aka Young Blitz wrote his first song called "Hard Times". He continued to write more and more until he became comfortable with reciting it in front of other people. Mostly practicing in front of a close relative, Uncle Poe, Blitz made the decision that rapping and performing was his calling. After his Uncle's passing Blitz dedicated his career and success to his honor.

After doing some time incarcerated and getting himself right with the Lord, Harper began to write even more. Blitz graduated from college in 2007 and released several mix-tapes to jump-start his career and generate a buzz around his name and talent. In Orlando, Blitz linked up with Riderman ENT. and "Mike Mezz" released his first official mix-tape under proper management entitled "The Son Of Virginia" in 2008.

Today George "Yung Blitz" Harper is a Graphic Designer/producer/filmmaker as well a rapper. With his slick lyrics and unique "New Wave crunk sound, Blitz looks to flood the music industry with something that all hip-hop fans can relate and vibe to. He is currently working on his first solo album called "Blitz 4 President" which is due to release this summer. With his unique style, banging beats and extensive writing experience Yung Blitz plans on being around for a long time and has a bright and promising future ahead of him.
